The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Working across marine, defence and industrial sectors, the Sales Development Representative will play a key role in supporting business growth and developing new customer opportunities for advanced energy storage technologies.
Working closely with senior commercial stakeholders, you will help build a strong sales pipeline, develop customer relationships and support opportunities through the sales process, while gaining exposure to a range of innovative engineering applications and international markets.
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for:
Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities across marine, defence and industrial sectors.
Developing relationships with prospective customers through email, telephone, networking and industry events.
Building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
Supporting opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement through to proposal development.
Assisting with the management and growth of existing customer accounts.
Attending client meetings, international trade shows and industry events.
Supporting the preparation of proposals, presentations and commercial materials.
Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities using CRM systems.
The Sales Development Representative will have:
Experience within a Sales Development Representative, Business Development, Sales or Account Support role.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
A proactive and commercially minded approach.
The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Experience engaging with a range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
