Passive Fire Site Manager – Temp (Security Cleared)

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Passive Fire Site Manager to join a well-established fire protection contractor on a short-term contract based at a specialist regulated site in Andover, Hampshire. The contract is initially for one month with the potential to extend, requiring an immediate start.

Security clearance is a critical requirement for this role. Candidates must hold a VINCI security clearance before commencing on site. This is an absolute non-negotiable — candidates who cannot meet this requirement will not be considered.

The Role

As Passive Fire Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for overseeing day-to-day site operations at a specialist regulated site in the Andover area, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will assist the Project Manager as required and act as the key point of contact on site for operatives, subcontractors and clients throughout the contract.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee day-to-day site operations ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards

* Carry out initial project briefs and produce short-term schedules of works based on the master programme

* Collate drawings, specifications and client information to plan works appropriately on site

* Identify material requirements and liaise with the office to ensure supplies are delivered in good condition

* Manage labour and subcontractors, organising workflow and delegating tasks effectively

* Monitor productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching to site teams

* Carry out weekly stock takes and produce weekly progress reports for the line manager

* Implement and maintain HSEQ systems across the site

* Ensure all operatives have appropriate PPE and that signage is correctly displayed at all times

* Maintain a safe environment for all site users throughout the works

* Support the delivery team with daily administrative tasks as required

* Liaise with clients professionally and attend meetings and site events as required

* Ensure full compliance with site-specific procedures and security requirements at all times

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience as a Site Manager within passive fire protection

* VINCI security clearance — an absolute requirement.

* SMSTS — required

* CSCS Card — required

* First Aid — required

* Fire Warden — required

* Asbestos Awareness — required

* Full UK Driving Licence — required

* Experience working within regulated, secure or specialist site environments — strongly desirable

* Strong organisational, communication and client-facing skills
