Job Summary
Our client who are going through a period of growth are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician & Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models. Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify faults and issues.
* Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, suspension work, and electrical system troubleshooting.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs with precision.
* Test vehicles post-repair to ensure proper functioning before returning to customers.
* Maintain detailed records of all work carried out on each vehicle.
* Assist in ordering parts and managing inventory to ensure smooth workflow.
* Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all tasks, including heavy lifting procedures when handling large or heavy components.
* Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair work clearly and professionally.
Requirements
* Proven experience or strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics is essential.
* Level 3 qualified or Equivalent
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues and documenting work.
