The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Purpose:
To support NORMA UK by using knowledge and skill to promote a positive health & safety culture in the workplace. To oversee the environmental performance of the Company and for developing, implementing and monitoring environmental strategies that promote sustainable development.
Responsibilities
1. To lead teams to conduct risk assessments for both Health and Safety and Environmental, considering how risks cans be reduced in all aspects of a production and office environment e.g., fire, noise, safe use of equipment etc.
2. Report the performance of the Health, Safety and Environmental system and performance to top Management.
3. Ensure the Health and Safety management systems conform to the latest ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
4. To outline safe operational procedures, working with both SMT and production supervision to identify risks and hazards.
5. To prepare Health & safety and Environmental strategies and develop internal policy.
6. To identify site training requirements, leading in-house training where appropriate.
7. To lead accident and incident investigations, liaising with first aider employees and coordinating any actions.
8. To record incident and accident issues liaising with the Senior Management Team and HSE where necessary.
9. To work with Production and Maintenance departments to ensure the safe installation of new and repaired equipment, including making any necessary changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation.
10. To carry out regular site inspections to check policy and procedure introduction and adherence.
11. To manage and organise the safe disposal of any hazardous substances.
12. To manage the Value Based Safety procedure, ensuring a robust process compliments the risk assessment procedure.
13. To maintain a data base of legal and best practice information including maintaining individual continuous professional development.
14. To oversee the use of environmental resources within the organisation including water, gas, monitoring usage and preparing KPI information.
15. To develop schemes for recycling, pollution reduction and pollution prevention.
16. To ensure compliance with Environmental legislation.
17. To follow NORMA Group standards, policies, reporting and guidance. Implementing these effectively across the site where applicable.
Requirements:
1. NEBOSH qualified, HND, degree qualified or equivalent, in a related discipline.
2. A natural facilitator and coach, with previous experience in a production environment.
3. Computer literate with understanding PC systems, MS – Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Internet etc
