The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Project Engineer (Supervisor) required for a market leading engineering company who work with companies world-wide on reducing their environmental impact. This is a great opportunity to work on varied projects within a company who have a trading history of over 80 years. The company can offer training and development opportunities.
This role would suit candidates looking for a varied position who have a mechanical engineering background & ideally hold a degree or apprenticeship (or equivalent). You can come from any mechanical industry background as industry specific training will be provided. You must have experience using AutoCAD to create 2D designs.
The successful candidate will work closely with the company’s General Manager to supervise the projects team and develop and maintain technical engineering support on bespoke projects. You will be involved in analysing project specifications and performance requirements to determine appropriate equipment design.
The company can offer hybrid working (up to two days’ work from home). The successful candidate can expect to spend approximately 20% of their time travelling to customer sites to support in activities such as meetings and inspections. As the role progresses, this is likely to increase to up to 40-50%.
The Project Engineer (Supervisor) Role:
• Analyse project specifications and performance requirements
• Provide technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations
• Resolve potential issues
• Prepares general arrangements and detail drawings using AutoCAD
• Prepare Weights and Area’s
• Reviews materials certificates and Procedure documents.
• International travel to customer sites – approximately 20% of the time, increasing up to 50% in a couple of years.
