We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible delivering food items across the South West. Maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and a good understanding of the rules of the road. Good numeracy and literacy skills required to enable correct delivery of goods.

Various shifts required Monday to Sunday - temp to perm for the right candidate.

Own transport required due to location.

Duties

* Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations.

* Load and unload items from the van, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

* Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary.

* Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding schedules and any potential delays.

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.

* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Requirements

* Valid driving licence (class B) with a clean driving record.

* Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.

* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
