The Role
As Registered Home Manager, you will lead and inspire the staff team, oversee the operational performance of the home and ensure residents receive safe, compassionate and high-quality care in line with CQC requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and develop the staff team, including recruitment, supervision and performance management.
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and relevant health and social care legislation.
* Drive continuous improvement in care quality, safety and service delivery.
* Manage budgets, occupancy and resources effectively.
* Oversee care planning, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners and external professionals.
* Lead audits, inspections and quality assurance processes.
* Promote a compassionate, supportive and person-centred culture throughout the home.
What We’re Looking For
* Essential: Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a CQC-regulated care or nursing home.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or working towards an equivalent qualification.
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and relevant legislation.
* Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team.
* Excellent communication, organisational and people-management skills.
* A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care.
* The right to work in the UK.
* Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
