Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

* Improve production processes to raise output and cut waste, scrap and downtime

* Lead continuous improvement projects using lean tools (5S, SMED, value stream mapping)

* Write and update work instructions, routings and process documents

* Introduce new products and equipment onto the shop floor

* Investigate production problems and put lasting fixes in place

* Work with quality, maintenance and production teams to hit targets

What you need

* Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering, or equivalent experience

* 2+ years as a manufacturing, production or process engineer

* Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and problem-solving tools

* Able to read engineering drawings

* Hands-on, practical approach and confidence on the shop floor

Nice to have

* Six Sigma Green Belt

* CAD skills (SolidWorks or AutoCAD)

* Experience with PFMEA and control plans
