How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Night Hygiene Supervisor

    Location: Lincolnshire
Shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am, five nights on and two nights off

We are recruiting for a Night Hygiene Supervisor to join a well-established food manufacturing business operating within a higher-risk production environment.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, responsible for leading a team of approximately 14 Hygiene Operatives and making sure the factory is cleaned safely, thoroughly and to the required food manufacturing standards each night.

    The role will involve:

    * Supervising and coordinating a team of approximately 14 Hygiene Operatives.

    * Allocating people to different areas of the factory and adjusting the plan when priorities change.

    * Overseeing the strip-down and cleaning of production machinery, belts and associated equipment.

    * Ensuring all cleaning activity is completed safely and to the required hygiene standard.

    * Maintaining standards in line with BRCGS requirements.

    * Monitoring the quality of cleaning completed by the team and addressing any issues.

    * Supporting, coaching and developing team members where required.

    * Responding to problems during the night shift and making practical decisions to keep the cleaning operation on track.

    * Working closely with the Hygiene Manager and wider Technical team.

    What we are looking for:

You will need previous hygiene experience within a similar manufacturing environment. Experience within meat, poultry or fish manufacturing would be particularly useful, although candidates from other higher-risk food environments will also be considered.

You should have a good understanding of factory hygiene, machinery cleaning and equipment strip-down, along with a practical, adaptable approach when things do not go to plan.

    Shift pattern

The night shift runs from 10:00pm to 6:00am, working five nights on and two nights off. There is some flexibility around which five nights are worked
