Telehandler Operator Job Description

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Telehandler Operator to join our team on a busy construction site in Steyning.

This role will involve operating the telehandler safely, supporting trades on site, and assisting with site logistics and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating the telehandler safely around site

Loading, unloading, and moving materials

Supporting trades with material distribution

Assisting with site deliveries and logistics

Carrying out daily machine checks

Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

Reporting any faults or safety concerns to site management

Assisting with light labouring duties when required

Telehandler Operator Requirements

Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket

CSCS card (essential)

Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites

Strong communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Able to travel to and from site
