How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Implement improvement plans to address the current CQC rating of Requires Improvement and work towards achieving a better inspection outcome.

    * Drive business growth by increasing care hours from the current level of over 800 per week.

    * Monitor service quality, identify operational weaknesses and implement corrective actions.

    * Maintain accurate records and ensure all care delivery meets regulatory requirements and organisational standards.

    * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, local authorities and other relevant stakeholders.

    * Monitor branch performance against operational targets and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.

    * Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and person-centred care.

    * Participate in the shared on-call rota, including weekday and weekend cover.

    Do you have?

    * A strong track record of improving branch performance and increasing care hours.

    * Good knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and quality improvement.

    * Experience leading teams and implementing operational improvements.

    * The ability to identify growth opportunities and manage branch performance effectively.

    * Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

    * A full UK driving licence.

    Benefits:

    * Competitive salary of up to £40,000 per year, depending on experience.

    * Bonus structure available once the branch reaches 1,000 care hours.

    * Weekend on-call payment of £100, with weekday on-call shared between the team on an unpaid basis.

    * Statutory pension with a company pension plan.

    * Fully paid training and development opportunities, where applicable.

    * Additional benefits in line with the organisation's benefits package.
