How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused engineering professional to join a business committed to operational excellence, continuous improvement and maintaining the highest manufacturing standards.

Working within an established Quality team, you will play a key role in ensuring products, processes and systems consistently meet customer expectations and the requirements of IATF 16949 and EN 9100.

    What You Will Be Doing
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and improving quality performance across manufacturing operations, working closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with industry and customer-specific requirements.

    Key responsibilities will include:
    - Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems in accordance with IATF 16949, EN 9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
    - Conducting internal audits, supporting external certification audits and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
    - Leading root cause analysis and corrective action activities using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why and Ishikawa.
    - Managing and investigating internal and external non-conformances, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
    - Preparing, reviewing and maintaining quality documentation, including Control Plans, PFMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams and inspection procedures.
    - Supporting APQP, PPAP and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
    - Monitoring and analysing quality performance through KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
    - Working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve production quality issues and reduce scrap, rework and customer complaints.
    - Supporting supplier quality activities, including supplier non-conformances and corrective action management.
    - Utilising quality tools and techniques, including SPC, MSA and capability studies, to improve process control and product conformity.
    - Promoting a proactive quality culture and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the business.

    What We Are Looking For
We are keen to speak with Quality Engineers who have experience working within a precision engineering, automotive, aerospace or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.

    The ideal candidate will have:
    - Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or similar quality-focused role within manufacturing or engineering.
    - A strong working knowledge of IATF 16949 and/or EN 9100 Quality Management Systems.
    - Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external customer or certification audits.
    - A good understanding of core quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC.
    - Experience with structured problem-solving techniques, including 8D and root cause analysis.
    - The ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and customer requirements.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
    - A proactive, analytical and solutions-focused approach to quality improvement.
    - Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple quality-related activities.

    Desirable experience:
    - Experience working within an IATF 16949 or EN 9100 certified manufacturing business.
    - Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements.
    - Internal or Lead Auditor qualifications.
    - Experience with CMM inspection, dimensional measurement and metrology.
    - A recognised engineering or quality qualification, such as HNC, HND or Degree.
    - Experience supporting customer and supplier quality audits.

    What's on Offer?
    - The opportunity to join an established and growing engineering business.
    - 4 day working week - Monday to Friday
    - A varied and technically challenging role within a quality-driven manufacturing environment.
    - The chance to make a genuine impact on quality performance and continuous improvement.
    - Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
    - A competitive salary and benefits package
