How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A leading construction consultancy in London is looking for an experienced Associate Director to join their Corporate Occupier team. The Associate Director will work with major corporate clients across workplace, fit-out and occupier-led projects, taking responsibility for both project delivery and senior client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Director who wants to work on high-profile schemes while continuing to build their leadership and commercial experience.

The successful Associate Director will join an established team delivering projects for leading occupiers across London. The Associate Director will lead major commissions, oversee multidisciplinary teams and act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the project lifecycle. For an ambitious Associate Director, this role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders, complex workplace projects and a clear route towards Director level.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Associate Director's role

The Associate Director will take responsibility for the successful delivery of corporate occupier projects from early strategy and briefing through to construction and completion.

Responsibilities will include leading client relationships, managing project teams, overseeing programmes, monitoring risk and commercial performance, coordinating consultants and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed quality, cost and programme objectives.

The Associate Director will also support junior members of the team, contribute to business development and help strengthen long-term client accounts.

    The Associate Director

    The successful candidate will have:

Significant Project Management experience within a construction consultancy

Strong experience delivering corporate occupier, workplace or commercial fit-out projects

A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

Proven experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams

Strong senior client-facing and stakeholder management skills

Good commercial awareness and understanding of fee management

Experience mentoring and developing junior team members

MRICS, MAPM, ChPP or another relevant professional qualification, or progress towards chartership

    In Return?

    £80,000 - £90,000

Opportunity to work with major corporate occupier clients

Exposure to high-profile workplace and fit-out projects

    Senior client-facing responsibility

    Clear progression towards Director level
