We're working with a growing independent garden retail business that is looking for a horticultural manager to run their modern plant area. If you're a horticultural supervisor, a well-established horticultural manager, or have experience in the garden retail industry and have a passion for plants, this position could be a great opportunity to step into this creative role!

About the role:

As horticultural manager, you'll have full creative autonomy over the plant area, focusing on creative and artistic plant displays all year round. You'll also be heading up a small team, making sure everyone works cohesively, delegating tasks, and creative a positive and motivated working environment.

Responsibilities:

Visual merchandising and creative displays
Managing a small team, delegating tasks
Working with the plant stock to make sure displays are always fresh and well-maintained
General maintenance of the plant area
Strong customer service
Mentoring and developing the team

About you:

A good knowledge of plants and horticulture
A supervisor ready to step up or an established manager seeking a new challenge
A passion for the garden retail industry
A flair for displays and merchandising
Passionate to progress with a new and growing business
