How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Internal Recruiter (Graduate Hiring), Guildford Area, up to £40,000 base salary + benefits (including hybrid working), Fantastic Company with Culture to match!

Specialism: Internal Recruitment | Graduate Recruitment | Early Careers | Talent Acquisition

Ready to make your mark in graduate recruitment?

This is your opportunity to take ownership, build relationships and help shape the next generation of talent.

Are you an Graduate or Internal Recruiter who thrives on finding great people, creating brilliant candidate experiences and making recruitment happen?

Do you want to develop your career in an in-house Talent Acquisition team where your ideas matter, your contribution is valued and you can progressively take on more responsibility?

If so, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Internal Recruiter (Graduate Hiring) to join a growing Talent Acquisition team in Guildford.

This is much more than coordinating interviews and processing applications. You’ll play an important role in delivering graduate recruitment campaigns, engaging candidates, supporting hiring managers and ensuring every candidate receives a professional, positive experience.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition, supporting graduate hiring and the recruitment of experienced consultants within a fast-paced professional services environment.

The best part? You’ll have the opportunity to broaden your recruitment expertise, develop your direct sourcing skills and take increasing ownership as you grow.

    What will you be doing?

You’ll be at the heart of the recruitment process, helping ensure the right people are identified, engaged and brought into the business.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Graduate recruitment: Supporting graduate hiring campaigns and managing candidates throughout the recruitment journey.

    * Candidate management: Keeping candidates informed, engaged and supported from application through to onboarding.

    * Interview coordination: Organising interviews, managing diaries and communicating effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.

    * Applicant tracking: Managing candidate records and applications through the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.

    * Vacancy advertising: Posting job adverts across relevant job boards and supporting recruitment campaigns.

    * Candidate feedback: Providing timely, professional communication and feedback throughout the selection process.

    * Recruitment administration: Supporting reporting, onboarding and the smooth running of day-to-day recruitment activity.

    * Careers events: Representing the business at graduate careers fairs and recruitment events, helping attract future talent.

    * Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve recruitment processes and enhance the candidate experience.

    * Developing your expertise: Building your skills in direct sourcing, employer branding and wider Talent Acquisition activities as your experience grows.

No two days will be the same. You’ll need to be comfortable juggling priorities, communicating with different people and ensuring the details never get missed.

    What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who combines a genuine interest in people with the organisation, initiative and professionalism needed to deliver an effective recruitment service.

    You’ll ideally bring:

    * Previous in-house graduate recruitment or early careers recruitment experience

    * Ideally 2–4 years’ experience in early careers hiring or a closely related recruitment environment.

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage candidates and stakeholders at all levels.

    * Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

    * The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment.

    * A proactive mindset, with the confidence to take ownership and use your initiative.

    * Strong IT skills and confidence working with recruitment systems and digital tools.

    * A collaborative approach, a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS) is desirable, particularly Pinpoint.

Above all, you’ll be someone who takes pride in doing things properly, enjoys building relationships and wants to make a meaningful contribution to a growing recruitment function.

    Why consider this opportunity?

Because your next move should be about more than simply changing jobs.

This role offers the chance to build on your existing recruitment experience, work closely with an experienced Head of Talent Acquisition and develop your capabilities across the wider recruitment lifecycle.

You’ll gain exposure to graduate hiring, experienced-hire recruitment, recruitment events, direct sourcing and employer branding — all within a professional services environment.

If you’re someone who enjoys making things happen, improving how recruitment works and creating a positive impression with every candidate, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to make a difference.

    Your next move

If you have in-house graduate recruitment experience, enjoy working with people and are ready to develop your career within Talent Acquisition, we’d love to hear from you.

Bring your experience. Bring your initiative. Bring your ambition.

Apply today and take the next step in your recruitment career
