Are you a patient, enthusiastic and dedicated tutor who is passionate about helping young people reach their full potential? We are looking for a caring and supportive EOTAS (Education Other Than at School) Tutor to work with a dyslexic student in Sittingbourne.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised educational support, build confidence and make learning an enjoyable and positive experience. You will help the student develop their skills at their own pace, using creative approaches tailored to their individual learning needs.
The Role
As an EOTAS Tutor, you will:
Deliver engaging, personalised learning sessions tailored to the student's needs and abilities.
Support a dyslexic student with their learning, helping to build confidence, independence and motivation.
Use multisensory learning techniques to make lessons accessible, interactive and engaging.
Create a positive, encouraging learning environment where the student feels supported.
Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to help the student achieve their goals.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with students with dyslexia, preferably.
Understands the benefits of multisensory learning approaches and can apply them effectively.
Is patient, empathetic, encouraging and adaptable.
Can tailor teaching methods to suit an individual's learning style and needs.
Is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
