How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to take real ownership of their customers, orders and workload. You’ll play a key role in coordinating customer requirements, supporting aftermarket sales and ensuring an excellent experience from start to finish.

    What will you be doing?
Preparing service and aftermarket quotations and following up to secure orders

Identifying opportunities to upsell additional products and services

Processing customer orders for parts and service visits

    Coordinating and scheduling service engineers

Following up on customer contracts, including renewals and replacements

Managing customer and order information using SAP and Salesforce

Liaising with internal teams to ensure stock and parts are available when required

Progress chasing orders and deliveries to meet customer deadlines

    Coordinating equipment deliveries

Processing repair quotations and liaising with subcontractors

Preparing dispatch paperwork ready for invoicing

Supporting with cash collection and outstanding payments

Maintaining accurate customer records and CRM information

Providing general administrative support when required

Ensuring an excellent level of customer service throughout

What are we looking for? We’re looking for someone who is confident, organised, proactive and commercially minded, with the ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple priorities.

    Ideally, you will have:

5+ years’ experience within customer service, internal sales or a similar position

Experience managing customer orders and/or service activities within an industrial environment

Experience within the water treatment industry would be highly advantageous, but isn't essential

    Experience using SAP and Salesforce

    Strong Microsoft Office skills

    Excellent written and verbal communication

Brilliant attention to detail and organisational skills

The confidence to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams

The ability to work effectively in a busy, deadline-driven environment

A proactive, assertive and goal-oriented approach

Why consider this opportunity? This is much more than simply processing orders. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships with customers, manage your own workload, support commercial opportunities and become an integral part of the wider team.

If you're looking for a varied position where you can utilise your customer service, coordination and commercial skills, this could be a brilliant next step
