How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Marketing Executive

    Full-Time | Manchester and/or Lancashire

Build Your Marketing Career with One of the North West's Leading Law Firms

For over 50 years, Farleys Solicitors has been a trusted legal adviser to businesses and individuals across the North West. With a strong regional reputation, long-standing client relationships and an approachable, people-first culture, we're proud to be one of Lancashire's most recognised legal brands.

As part of the Lawfront Group, one of the UK's fastest-growing legal services groups, we combine the strength of a respected local firm with the opportunities that come from being part of a larger national organisation. This means greater investment, collaboration, innovation and career development opportunities, whilst retaining the culture and values that make Farleys such a great place to work.

We're now looking for a talented Marketing Executive to join our growing Marketing & Business Development team.

    The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious marketer who is ready to take the next step in their career.

At Farleys, no two days are the same. If you're looking for variety, creativity and the chance to broaden your experience, you'll find it here. From content creation, social media, graphic design and video production through to events, PR, internal communications and business development initiatives, you'll gain hands-on experience across the full marketing mix while playing an important role in helping Farleys grow its brand and reputation.

You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of projects, build relationships with colleagues across the business and see the direct impact of your work. Whether you're creating engaging content, producing videos, supporting events or delivering campaigns, you'll be helping tell the Farleys story to clients, colleagues and the wider market.

    What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will:

Support the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing campaigns and communications that align with the firm's strategic goals.
Manage and update website content in collaboration with the wider Lawfront digital marketing team.
Create engaging content across a range of channels, including social media, email marketing, website content and internal communications.
Write, edit and proofread blogs, articles, news stories, newsletters and marketing materials.
Develop visual marketing assets using Canva and other design platforms.
Plan, film and edit short-form video content for social media, website, employer branding and internal communications activity.
Work with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities for video storytelling and thought leadership content.
Support the delivery of internal communications initiatives that engage colleagues across Farleys and the wider Lawfront Group.
Manage the firm's marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns, events and business development activities are effectively coordinated.
Liaise with external suppliers, designers, photographers and agencies to deliver marketing projects.
Provide guidance on the Farleys and Lawfront brands, ensuring consistency across all marketing activity.
Support the planning and delivery of client events, sponsorships and networking opportunities, including representing Farleys at events when required.
Provide ad-hoc support on marketing and business development projects as needed.
    About You

We're looking for an organised, creative and commercially minded marketer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing a variety of projects.

    You'll ideally have:

A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a marketing role.
Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
Experience managing websites, social media platforms and email marketing campaigns.
Experience creating visual marketing assets using Canva and other design tools.
Basic to intermediate video creation and editing skills, with the ability to produce engaging content for different channels.
A strong eye for design, branding and visual storytelling.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Confidence building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive approach with the confidence to contribute ideas and challenge thinking.
CIM qualification, or working towards one, would be advantageous.
Previous experience within legal or professional services would be beneficial, although not essential.
    Why Join Farleys?
Join one of the North West's most respected and established legal brands.
Enjoy genuine opportunities to take ownership of projects and make an impact.
Gain exposure to a broad range of marketing disciplines, helping you develop a well-rounded skillset.
Collaborate with colleagues across both Farleys and the wider Lawfront Group.
Benefit from ongoing professional development and long-term career progression opportunities.
Be part of a supportive, friendly and collaborative culture where your ideas are valued.
Play an important role in an ambitious business that's continuing to invest in growth, innovation and its people.
    Ready to Make an Impact?

If you're a creative and ambitious marketing professional looking for a role where you'll gain broad experience, develop your skills and make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and help tell the Farleys story.
