How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The role will also involve supporting SQL Server databases, ETL processes, and data integrations to ensure the efficient flow of information across business systems. In addition, you will contribute to master data management initiatives, helping to improve data quality, consistency, and governance across the business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Gather business requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
    • Develop and support SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and other database objects.
    • Build and maintain ETL processes and data integration solutions.
    • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance standards.
    • Support master data management and continuous data quality improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver meaningful insights and reporting.
    • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automation, and business processes.
    About You
    • 1-2 years' experience within a Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Development role.
    • Strong experience developing and supporting Power BI dashboards and reports.
    • Good SQL Server knowledge, including T-SQL, stored procedures, views, and functions.
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies such as SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
    • Experience developing ETL processes and supporting data integrations.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Experience supporting master data management and data governance initiatives.
    • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently.
    Desirable
    • Exposure to cloud ERP platforms such as Azure, SAP, or Infor M3.
    • Experience using Python.
    • An interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
    What's on Offer
This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where data is at the heart of decision-making. You will gain exposure to a broad range of technologies and business functions while contributing to key projects that drive operational and commercial performance
