How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Site Manager - Social Housing

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a social housing maintenance and refurbishment contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with experience within social housing, residential maintenance, refurbishment or property services, who is confident managing operatives and subcontractors while ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

    The Role

    As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of works across social housing properties, which will be tenanted. You will oversee site activities, coordinate trades, monitor progress and ensure that works are completed in line with programme, quality and health & safety requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    Manage day-to-day site operations across properties.
    Supervise and coordinate direct labour and tradespeople.
    Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
    Monitor progress against programme and report any issues or delays.
    Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks.
    Ensure health & safety procedures and site requirements are followed.
    Identify and resolve issues arising on site.
    Ensure materials, labour and resources are available when required.
    Maintain accurate site records, reports and relevant documentation.
    Ensure all works comply with relevant specifications, regulations and client requirements.About You

    The successful candidate will ideally have:

    Previous experience working as a Site Manager within social housing, residential maintenance, refurbishment or a similar environment.
    Experience managing trades and operatives.
    A good understanding of health & safety and site compliance.
    The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    Relevant SMSTS, CSCS and Manual Handeling, asbestos awareness and working at heights.Why Apply?
