How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Title: Water Hygiene / Legionella Administrator
    Location: Cannock, West Midlands
    Salary/Benefits: £26k - £31k + Training & Benefits
    Our client is a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, who have a busy presence in the Midlands region. Due to recently winning new contracts, they are seeking a proactive and hardworking Administrator to join their team. You will be responsible for a diverse range of duties, including scheduling works, handling incoming client communications, processing invoices and arraning accommodation for site staff. Applicants must be commutable to the office and must have a strong telephone manner. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: training, pension scheme and annual leave allowance.
    Ideally you will be based around: Cannock, Stafford, Rugeley, Lichfield, Tamworth, Uttoxeter, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Coalville, Loughborough, Leiecester, Wolverhampton, Telford, Market Drayton, Walsall, West Bromwich, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Solihull, Rugby, Birmingham, Stourbridge, Bridgnorth, Kidderminster, Redditch.
    Experience / Qualifications:
    * Experience working as a Water Hygiene / Legionella Administrator
    * Excellent communication skills
    * Confident using IT software, including the Microsoft Office Suite
    * Ideally will hold industry-technical knowledge
    * Good literacy and numeracy skills
    * Strong organisational skills
    The Role:
    * Coordinating daily appointments for engineers and risk assessors
    * Liaising with clients to arrange site access and confirm appointments
    * Answering incoming email and phone enquiries
    * Updating the internal database with test results and works outcomes
    * Ordering materials, uniforms and tools
    * Generating and proof-reading technical reports
    * Processing invoices
    * Taking minutes for meetings and issuing to colleagues
    * Arranging transport and accommodation for engineers
    * Ensuring works run in accordance with timeframes
    * General administrative support to colleagues
