How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electronics Engineer looking to work with innovative technologies while having a tangible impact on the development of next-generation communication and electronic systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    Electronic Design & Development

    *

Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits, including mixed-signal systems.

    *

Design signal-conditioning circuits, filters, amplifiers and power-supply modules.

    *

Develop digital systems incorporating microprocessors, ADCs, DACs and associated logic.

    *

Produce detailed technical specifications and support component selection.

    *

Undertake circuit simulation and analysis to validate designs.

    *

Capture schematics and define PCB requirements, including materials and stack-up.

    *

Support electronic designs through development and into volume manufacture.

    Systems Integration, Verification & Testing

    *

Work with digital and communication interfaces including PCIe, USB, Ethernet, CAN bus, I²C and SPI.

    *

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, communication and system-level issues.

    *

Perform system integration, verification and validation testing.

    *

Develop and execute test specifications and produce detailed technical reports.

    *

Support reliability assessments and investigate design or performance issues.

    Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

    *

Collaborate closely with hardware, software, firmware and RF engineering teams.

    *

Participate in and lead design reviews, identifying and mitigating technical risks.

    *

Support new product introduction, fault diagnosis and diagnostic activities.

    *

Manage component obsolescence and identify suitable alternative components.

    *

Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes, designs and products.

    *

Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, engineering practices and relevant industry standards.

    Reliability & Performance

    *

Conduct thermal analysis, MTBF calculations and tolerance analysis.

    *

Ensure designs achieve required performance, cost, quality and manufacturability targets.

    *

Consider reliability, testability and manufacturability throughout the design lifecycle.

    *

Support the transition of designs from development into production.

    About You

You will be a driven and detail-oriented Electronics Engineer with a strong interest in developing high-performance electronic systems within a technically challenging and fast-paced environment.

    You will ideally have:

    - A degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant engineering experience.

    - Strong experience in analogue and digital circuit design at component level.

    - Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools; Altium Designer experience would be advantageous.

    - Knowledge of EMC/EMI design and testing principles.

    - Practical experience using laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analysers and logic analysers.

    - Experience taking electronic designs through development, testing and product introduction.

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

    Desirable Experience

    - Experience within RF or microwave electronics.

    - Experience working with high-frequency or high-performance communication systems.

    - Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing and surface-mount technology (SMT).

    - Experience within telecommunications, defence, aerospace or space environments.

    - Understanding of design-for-manufacture and product lifecycle management.

    Why Join?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a technically advanced engineering environment and contribute to the development of next-generation electronic and communications technologies.

You will have the opportunity to:

    *

Work on innovative RF, wireless and electronic technologies.

    *

Collaborate with highly experienced engineers across multiple disciplines.
