What You'll Do
Lift, carry, push and pull tools, components, machinery and supplies safely.
Load and unload equipment onto workbenches, transport vehicles or designated areas.
Use trolleys, sack barrows, pallet trucks and other approved moving aids.
Operate suitable transfer equipment, including hoists, slide sheets, standing frames and transfer boards, where trained and authorised.
Move specialist equipment, beds, oxygen cylinders and bulk supplies between departments when required.
Inspect loads for unstable parts, sharp edges and other hazards before moving them.
Follow all manual-handling, health and safety, PPE and local workplace procedures.
What We're Looking For
Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to bend, kneel, walk and remain active throughout the shift.
Practical knowledge of safe lifting and moving techniques.
A responsible, safety-first approach and willingness to follow instructions.
Confidence using manual or mechanical handling aids, subject to training and authorisation.
Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Previous experience in a healthcare, facilities, warehouse, logistics or similar environment is desirable.
