How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

A leading multidisciplinary consultancy in London is looking for an experienced Associate Project Manager to join their growing infrastructure team. The Associate Project Manager will play a key role in the delivery of major and complex infrastructure programmes, with a particular focus on Water and Environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Project Manager who wants to combine project leadership, client development and team management within a well-established consultancy.

    The Associate Project Manager's role

The Associate Project Manager will lead the successful delivery of complex infrastructure commissions and frameworks, ensuring projects meet client, commercial and programme objectives.

Responsibilities will include managing senior client relationships, overseeing project governance, risk and controls, leading multidisciplinary teams, monitoring commercial performance, supporting major bids and tenders, and identifying opportunities to grow key client accounts.

The role will also involve mentoring and developing Project Management staff, contributing to recruitment and helping shape the wider infrastructure strategy.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Associate Project Manager

    The successful candidate will have:

10+ years' experience delivering complex infrastructure projects and programmes

Strong experience within the Water and Environment sector

A degree in Engineering, Project Management, Environmental Management or a related discipline

Experience leading major programmes, frameworks and multidisciplinary teams

Strong commercial awareness, including fee management and forecasting

Experience with NEC3 and NEC4 contracts

APM PMQ, PRINCE2 or an equivalent Project Management qualification

Chartered status such as ChPP, MRICS, MICE, CEng or equivalent

Strong client relationship, leadership and line management experience

Experience supporting business development and account growth

    In Return?

    £80,000 - £90,000

Senior leadership responsibility across major infrastructure programmes

Exposure to high-profile Water and Environment projects

Opportunity to grow strategic client accounts

Involvement in bids, recruitment and business strategy

    Clear route for continued progression

London-based position within a major multidisciplinary consultancy
