How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    My client is an industry recognised company that are experiencing an exciting period of growth. They are now looking for an Internal Technical Sales Engineer to join their team and be part of their long-term future or the company based in the workshop at their site in Yorkshire. As an Internal Technical Sales Engineer, you will be tasked with supporting clients and external sales team members and being involved in projects of various sizes.

    Internal Technical Sales Engineer

    Doncaster

    £35,000 - £40,000 Basic DOE, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme.

    Monday – Friday hours working 8.30am – 4.30pm

    Cycle to work scheme

    Semi flexible working hours to suit commute

    Continuous training and development plan.

    Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

    Supporting clients and external sales team through sales process.
    Provide technical support to clients and the external sales team.
    Work on a diverse range of projects from small components to large scale hydraulic systems.
    Prepare quotes and identify suitable hydraulic solutions based on customer requirements.
    Work closely with various departments including engineering, sales and operations.
    Provide continuous after sales support.
    Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
    To apply you MUST have or hold:

    Able to work alone and in a team.
    A qualification in Mechanical Engineering (HND,HNC or equivalent)
    Strong understanding of hydraulic components and systems.
    Confident to interpret technical information and provide solutions.
    Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
    Able to work to deadlines under pressure.
    Good organisational skills with eh ability to prioritise workloads
    Confident and enthusiastic.
    Comfortable on various Microsoft programs.
