How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you an experienced Electrician or Electrical Installation Engineer looking to step off the tools and move into a rewarding career in technical training?

Do you want to use the skills you've developed throughout your career to train other electricians, gain fully funded teaching and assessing qualifications and enjoy a more structured working week?

This well-established, family-run training provider has been operating for over 25 years and has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality technical training. The business has grown considerably while maintaining a supportive working environment, with exceptionally strong staff retention, approachable management and a genuine commitment to developing its employees.

In this role, you'll deliver electrical installation training to adult learners, initially focusing on Level 2 electrical courses before developing into additional areas such as the 18th Edition, PAT Testing and other specialist electrical qualifications. You don't need to have worked in education before, and additional qualifications such as the 18th Edition can be completed through the company's own training programmes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step off the tools without leaving the electrical industry behind, develop a completely new skill set and build a long-term career with an organisation that genuinely looks after its people.

Initial shadowing and support from experienced trainers.
Ongoing technical training and opportunities to deliver additional courses.
Primarily based in Northolt, with occasional travel to Luton.
Supportive, family-run working environment with free daily breakfast and regular staff events.
    The Person:

Electrician / Electrical Installation Engineer / Electrical Technician or similar.
Must hold a Level 3 electrotechnical qualification or equivalent.
Minimum three years of practical industry experience.
    Strong electrical installation knowledge.
