How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Director, Creative Director and Product Director, you will bring each brand to life through product launches, retailer campaigns, digital content and trade activity. You will build relationships with retail and brand partners, helping drive sales while ensuring each brand's identity is represented consistently.

As part of a small, ambitious team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact across brand strategy, product storytelling and retail marketing.

    Key Responsibilities

    Brand Strategy and Planning

    - Develop and deliver annual marketing strategies for each licensed furniture brand, supported by promotional and content calendars.
    - Establish clear positioning, customer propositions and key messages for each collection.
    - Maintain brand consistency across marketing activity and retail partner platforms, ensuring compliance with licensor guidelines and approval processes.

    Retailer Marketing and Digital Content

    - Create campaigns that help retail partners successfully launch and promote furniture collections.
    - Develop and maintain retailer marketing toolkits, including point-of-sale materials, digital assets, social media content, store graphics and product launch packs.
    - Work directly with retailers to tailor marketing support and improve online product presentation.
    - Deliver email communications through HubSpot, keeping retailers informed about product updates, lead times, discontinued ranges and promotional activity.
    - Maintain and develop consumer-facing websites, the company website and its retailer portal.
    - Manage company social media channels and produce content that supports brand awareness and retailer sales.

    Product Launches and Sales Support

    - Develop compelling product stories and clear selling messages.
    - Work with the Creative Director and Product Director to coordinate photography, video, CGI and launch materials.
    - Organise and attend trade shows.
    - Produce selling guides, product brochures and training presentations for retail partners and the internal sales team.

    Brand Partner and Stakeholder Management

    - Build strong relationships with licensed brand partners.
    - Coordinate brand approvals and present marketing plans and campaign proposals.
    - Identify opportunities for collaborative marketing activity.
    - Manage external agencies, photographers, designers and printers.

    Project, Budget and Campaign Management

    - Manage multiple marketing projects, delivering activity on time and within budget.
    - Plan and manage marketing budgets, monitor campaign performance and report on return on investment.
    - Support the company's industry profile through award submissions, press releases and digital content.

    Skills and Experience

    Essential

    - Previous experience in a Marketing Manager role.
    - A track record of developing marketing strategies and delivering them through to execution.
    - Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
    - Excellent copywriting, communication and presentation skills.
    - Strong stakeholder management skills.
    - Experience managing digital marketing channels and website content.
    - Confidence using website administration systems and CRM platforms.
    - Confidence using creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
    - Strong budget management, reporting and campaign analysis skills.
    - High attention to detail and a commercially focused approach.

    What Success Looks Like

Success will be measured through the delivery of annual marketing plans, timely product launches, retailer engagement and satisfaction, and the contribution of marketing activity to sales growth.

You will also be responsible for maintaining brand compliance, producing effective sales support materials, achieving strong campaign performance and delivering projects within budget.

You will influence everything from brand strategy and product launches to in-store experiences and digital campaigns, combining creative storytelling with practical marketing that supports commercial growth.
