How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Wedding & Events Co-ordinator Worcestershire  Permanent  £28,000 - £35,000 + Bonus
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, organised and customer-focused Wedding & Events Coordinator to join a highly respected and established events and hospitality business based in Worcestershire.
This is far more than a traditional events role. It offers the chance to be involved in the planning, coordination and delivery of a diverse range of memorable experiences, from luxury weddings and private celebrations to corporate events and bespoke catering functions.
Working within a passionate and supportive team, you will play a pivotal role in bringing clients' visions to life, guiding them through every stage of their journey from initial enquiry and venue viewing through to seamless event execution. You'll be responsible for creating unforgettable experiences, building lasting relationships with clients and suppliers, and ensuring every event is delivered to the highest possible standard.
No two days are the same. One day you could be conducting venue tours with prospective couples, the next coordinating suppliers, overseeing event set-ups, creating engaging social media content, or managing the smooth delivery of a stunning wedding or large-scale private function. This is a hands-on role that combines event planning, client relationship management, operational coordination, hospitality and marketing, making it an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
The business operates across a seven-day events schedule, meaning flexibility is essential. In return, you'll join a successful and growing organisation known for delivering exceptional customer experiences, offering genuine career development opportunities, a collaborative team culture and the chance to be part of some truly special occasions.
