How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain hands-on experience supporting children with Autism and complex additional needs?

    Would you like to develop your experience in a specialist school alongside professionals working in Psychology, Therapy and Mental Health?

    A highly regarded ASD specialist school in Maidenhead is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant to support children with Autism, sensory processing difficulties, communication needs and complex learning disabilities.

    This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and aspiring professionals who are considering a career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Counselling, Mental Health or SEN.

    You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils develop their communication, emotional regulation, social skills, independence and confidence. You'll work closely with experienced teaching and therapeutic staff and gain valuable insight into how specialist strategies and interventions can support children with complex needs.

    The school offers an engaging and supportive environment where you can develop your understanding of Autism, behaviour, sensory needs, emotional wellbeing and therapeutic approaches while making a genuine difference to pupils' lives.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    A degree or background in Psychology, Counselling, Education or a related field
