Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a secondary school?
We are recruiting Specialist SEN Teaching Assistants across Coventry and Warwickshire to support pupils with a range of additional needs.
You may support pupils with:
*
Autism / ASD
*
ADHD
*
SEMH and challenging behaviour
*
Speech, language and communication needs
*
Complex learning needs
*
Moderate learning difficulties
*
Social and emotional needs
*
Physical or medical needs
The role may involve 1:1 support, small-group work, assisting with learning, managing behaviour and working closely with teachers and SEN teams.
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you will have:
*
Previous SEN experience, preferably within a secondary school.
*
A good understanding of SEND and inclusive education.
*
Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour or SEMH.
*
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*
A calm, patient and consistent approach.
*
Strong behaviour management skills.
*
The ability to follow individual support plans and safeguarding procedures.
*
A genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN, Autism, Behaviour, Mental Health, Education or Youth Work would be highly desirable.
