Day Rate: £500/day (Inside IR35)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join a major infrastructure project in Euston. In this role, you will lead the procurement of key mechanical and electrical (M&E) packages through competitive tender routes taking ownership from initial strategy and market engagement through to contract award and ongoing supplier management.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Leadership: Lead M&E procurement activity, collaborating closely with project, commercial, and engineering teams to align procurement strategies with project delivery schedules.
Tender Management: Develop, issue, and manage full ITT documentation (including pre-qualification, tender instructions, contract drafting, pricing schedules, and evaluation criteria).
Contract Negotiation: Structure and negotiate robust commercial and contractual terms using the NEC3 Contract Suite, delivering on safety, programme, and cost targets.
Supplier Performance: Oversee supplier relationships and performance management utilising enterprise management systems.
Governance & Best Practice: Ensure all procurement workflows comply with legal frameworks and corporate governance while driving continuous improvement across processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to maximise value and drive successful project outcomes.
Key Requirements
Proven track record as a Procurement / Supply Chain Manager within construction, engineering, or major infrastructure environments.
Strong subject-matter expertise in procuring M&E packages.
Demonstrable experience drafting, negotiating, and administering NEC3 contracts.
End-to-end competitive tender process management capabilities.
