Total: 31.5 hours per week
You will be the main member of staff on site during your shift, ensuring that the facilities are being used safely and appropriately, users are supported, and the site remains secure and well managed.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is organised, confident dealing with members of the public and comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the day-to-day use of the school's 3G sports pitch and associated facilities.
* Open and close the facilities in accordance with site procedures.
* Welcome users and hirers and act as the main point of contact during bookings.
* Monitor the safe and appropriate use of the pitch and school facilities.

* Respond appropriately to any incidents or emergencies, following the school's procedures.
* Maintain awareness of safeguarding requirements when working on a school site and report any concerns through the appropriate channels.
* Manage the closing-down procedure at the end of each shift.
* Secure buildings, gates and facilities and set the alarm system as required.
* Ensure the site is fully secure before leaving.
* Maintain accurate records of incidents, maintenance issues and any other relevant matters.
* Carry out other reasonable site supervision duties as required.

The appointment will be subject to appropriate pre-employment checks, which may include an Enhanced DBS check, references and right-to-work verification, in accordance with the requirements of the role and the school's safeguarding procedures. Sport England guidance recommends appropriate safeguarding arrangements and safe recruitment procedures for staff working around young people in sports facilities.
