ABA Tutor

Do you have a background supporting children or young people with autism, communication differences, or additional learning needs? Are you confident using structured approaches to help pupils develop their skills, independence, and engagement with learning?

We are looking for ABA Tutors to support pupils within specialist SEN settings across Batley, providing individualised support to children with a variety of additional needs.

The Role… ABA Tutor

As an ABA Tutor in Batley, you will work closely with individual pupils and small groups, providing targeted support based around their specific needs and learning goals. You'll work alongside teachers and other SEN professionals to create consistency and help pupils make meaningful progress.

Using your knowledge of ABA approaches, you'll support pupils with communication, interaction, behaviour, and learning. You'll break activities into manageable steps, reinforce positive progress, and adapt your approach to help each pupil remain engaged and motivated.

Your role may include:

* Providing individual and small-group learning support
* Supporting children with autism, communication needs, and other SEND
* Using structured learning approaches and positive reinforcement
* Encouraging communication, interaction, and greater independence
* Helping pupils develop positive routines and engagement with education
* Monitoring progress towards individual targets
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and wider SEN teams

You'll Be…

* Experienced as an ABA Tutor or confident using ABA strategies with children or young people
* Familiar with supporting autism, communication needs, or other additional needs
* Patient, consistent, and able to tailor your approach to individual pupils
* Confident providing focused one-to-one support
* Passionate about helping children develop skills, confidence, and independence
* Interested in ABA Tutor opportunities within specialist settings across Batley
