Academics are currently recruiting experienced SEMH Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) and Teachers to work across ARPs and specialist educational settings in Batley and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for passionate, resilient and nurturing professionals who have a genuine commitment to supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
✨ We are looking for candidates who have:
Previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour - essential
A genuine passion for working with pupils with SEMH needs
Experience within specialist settings, ARPs or similar environments
A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
The confidence to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A Level 4 qualification or above - essential
The ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and wider professionals🌟 What you can expect:
