Frontline Construction Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Fire Door Carpenters / Fire Door Installers to work across Southeast and Southwest London.
We have ongoing opportunities available for skilled carpenters with experience installing, replacing and carrying out remedial works to fire doors within commercial and residential properties.
Duties & Responsibilities
Installation and replacement of fire doors
Hanging and fitting FD30 and FD60 fire doors
Fitting fire-rated frames, hinges, closers, handles and other ironmongery
Carrying out fire door remedial and adjustment works
Ensuring doors are fitted in line with relevant specifications
Measuring and assessing existing doors and frames
Working to a high standard of finish
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Completing works across multiple sites throughout Southeast and Southwest London
Requirements
Proven experience as a Carpenter / Fire Door Carpenter
Previous experience with fire door installation and remedial works
Good knowledge of fire door requirements and installation standards
Experience with FD30 and/or FD60 fire doors
Own tools
CSCS card preferred
Reliable and professional approach
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Previous site experience and references
