Location: Ashford, Kent

Salary: £40,000 - £45, 000 + bonuses
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

The Opportunity

Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing specialist manufacturing business seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations and support the continued success of the site.

This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for driving operational performance, improving efficiencies and developing a culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality and delivery targets.

* Manage, coach and develop production teams.

* Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Monitor and improve KPIs, including productivity, quality, OEE and cost performance.

* Manage operational budgets and resources effectively.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

* Work collaboratively with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Supply Chain teams.

* Identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce downtime.

About You

* Degree or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline.

* Significant manufacturing management experience within a fast-paced production environment.

* Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

* Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

* Experience managing budgets, KPIs and operational performance.

* Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Desirable

* Experience using ERP/MRP systems.

* Experience within an ISO-certified manufacturing environment.
