Welder

Role: MIG Welder 

Location: Daventry

Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week 

Voluntary overtime available 

Salary: £17.00 - £18.00 an hour, weekly pay

Immediate Start Date Available 

Temporary with the opportunity to go permaennt 

OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienceed MIG Welder to join a well-established client based in Daventry, due to continued growth of the business. 

Duties of a MIG Welder:

MIG weld mainly mild steel components to engineering drawings and specifications.
Set and operate MIG welding equipment and associated tools.
Complete assembly and general fabrication duties including cutting, grinding, drilling and deburring.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and use measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
Inspect finished welds and components to meet quality standards.
Identify and report faults, supporting troubleshooting where required.
Work to production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and Health & Safety.
What we would like from you:

Previous MIG welding/fabrication experience, ideally working with mild steel.
Ability to read engineering drawings and work accurately to specifications.
Confident using hand tools and basic fabrication equipment.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Able to work to production targets while maintaining Health & Safety standards.
Reliable, hardworking and a good team player.
