The Opportunity:
We are looking for an Assistant People Advisor to join our HR department. This is an exciting opportunity for a friendly, proactive and people-focused individual looking to build a career within Human Resources.
You'll play a key role providing administrative and advisory support across the People Operations & Payroll function, helping to ensure managers and employees receive a consistent, professional and responsive HR service.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm and the salary is £30,000 per annum.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees, escalating complex matters where required.
* Support investigations, disciplinary processes and absence management in line with company policies.
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, inductions, employee check-ins and offboarding activities.
* Prepare and issue employment documentation, including contracts, letters and contractual changes.
* Maintain accurate employee records across the HRIS, time and attendance and other people systems.
* Provide general HR administration and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the People function.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:
* SCQF Level 6/7, HNC, or equivalent qualification, or demonstrable experience gained in a similar role.
* Previous administrative experience within a busy office environment, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation while handling sensitive and confidential information.
* Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
