A leading global manufacturer within the engineering sector is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its high-performing manufacturing operation in Daventry.
Working within a specialist machining environment, you'll become part of a dedicated breakdowns team responsible for maintaining a large range of CNC machine tools and production equipment. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Reactive breakdown maintenance across a wide range of plant machinery
Diagnosing and repairing faults on CNC machine tools
Mechanical maintenance including:
Bearings
Ballscrews
Leadscrews
Spindle checks and measurements
Electrical fault finding and repair
PLC fault finding on Siemens systems
Fault diagnosis on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Supporting continuous improvement and machine reliability initiatives
Working closely with production to minimise downtime
You'll work on a variety of modern and legacy CNC machinery including:
Operating with a range of CNC control systems and machinery from leading manufacturers.
What We're Looking For
Completed Engineering Apprenticeship (Maintenance Engineering or similar)
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
Manufacturing or production environment experience
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience working on industrial plant machinery
