We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Class 2 Driver to join our team and drive our commercial vehicles with confidence and professionalism. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, primarily utilizing flatbed trucks, to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities
* Operate Class 2 commercial vehicles, including flatbed trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
* Load, secure, and unload cargo efficiently while ensuring the integrity of the goods during transit
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness before each journey
* Plan optimal delivery routes to meet deadlines and maximize efficiency
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs
* Follow all company policies related to safe driving practices and cargo handling
Experience
* Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or similar commercial vehicles
* Valid Class 2 driving license with a clean driving record
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
* Prior delivery driver experience demonstrating punctuality and reliability
* Knowledge of route planning tools and GPS navigation systems
* Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo efficiently
