Part Time - Health & Safety Facilities Officer HSE
(Redditch B97 or Wolverhampton WV3)
Location—On-site at a Gordon Moody Treatment Centre in B97 or WV3
Hours – Part-time, 21 hours over the week – or 3 days x 7 hours
Salary – £38k to £43k if full-time, 35-hour week.
Therefore, pro rata for 21 hours a week £22,800 and £25,800.

Gordon Moody is a national leader in gambling addiction recovery, delivering evidence-based support that helps people rebuild their lives. We’re looking for a proactive Health & Safety & Facilities Officer to help ensure our environments are safe, compliant and supportive for everyone who uses our services.
The role
Based on-site at one of our treatment centres, you’ll take the lead on health, safety and facilities across our residential services. You’ll drive a strong safety culture, manage risk assessments and inspections, support compliance, and work closely with managers to maintain safe, well-run environments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead health & safety systems across residential and community services
- Carry out risk assessments, audits and site inspections
- Investigate incidents and implement preventative actions
- Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation and quality standards
- Advise and support managers on safety, wellbeing and workplace adjustments
- Coordinate facilities, maintenance and contractor activity
- Monitor performance and report to senior leadership
About you
- NEBOSH (or equivalent) qualified
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety compliance
- Experience in risk assessment, audits and incident management
- Confident working with managers, contractors and external bodies
- Understanding of Equality Act responsibilities and workplace adjustments
- Experience in care, charity or regulated environments (desirable)
