CNC Turner / Mazak Programmer - Day Shift

🕒 Day Shift | Monday to Friday

A leading precision engineering manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner / Mazak Programmer to join its growing team.

Specialising in the manufacture of high-precision gears, splines, threads and machined components, the company supplies critical parts to industries where quality, reliability and performance are paramount. Operating with advanced CNC machinery and working to extremely tight tolerances, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled engineering environment.

The Role
- Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC turning centres
- Manufacturing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Editing and optimising programmes to improve efficiency and cycle times
- Conducting first-off, in-process and final inspections
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure production and quality targets are achieved
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety

Requirements
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner
- Strong Mazak programming, setting and operating experience
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Experience manufacturing high-precision components
- Familiarity with inspection equipment and quality procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
