How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Project Coordinator – Manufacturing & Construction

    Mid Kent

    £40,000–£45,000 DOE + benefits + progression

    Can you keep complex projects moving, spot problems early and bring order to changing priorities?

    An ambitious and growing business is looking for a proactive Project Coordinator to manage bespoke technical projects from handover through production and final delivery.

    This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how projects move through manufacturing or construction—and knows how to keep customers, suppliers and internal teams on track.

    The role

    * Managing multiple live projects from handover to completion

    * Creating project plans, programmes, Gantt charts and trackers

    * Monitoring deadlines, dependencies, risks and outstanding actions

    * Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and project information

    * Coordinating customer approvals, suppliers, production and logistics

    * Tracking materials, manufacturing progress, quality and delivery dates

    * Identifying potential delays and resolving problems before they escalate

    * Monitoring variations, costs and the impact of changes

    * Keeping customers informed throughout delivery

    What you’ll need

    * Project coordination or project management experience

    * A background in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, construction or a similar technical environment

    * Confidence reading technical drawings and specifications

    * Strong planning, problem-solving and commercial awareness

    * Experience managing several projects and competing deadlines

    * Good Excel skills, including creating and using formulas

    * Experience producing project programmes, timelines or Gantt charts

    * A full UK driving licence

    A relevant technical or project qualification would be beneficial, but strong practical experience is equally valuable.

    You’ll be organised, analytical and confident enough to ask questions, challenge information and hold your own when priorities shift.

    This is not a progress-chasing administration role. You’ll be expected to think ahead, take ownership and keep projects moving.

    The package

    * £40,000–£45,000 depending on experience

    * Permanent, full-time position

    * Benefits package

    * Genuine scope to progress as the business grows
