We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client for their busy Cold Chain Warehouse operation in Dunstable. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Working within a temperature-controlled warehouse, you will play a vital role in ensuring products are handled, picked, packed, and processed correctly while adhering to strict cold chain procedures.
Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative
Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Using handheld PDA scanners and warehouse management systems.
Receiving, handling, and moving products safely throughout the warehouse.
Loading and unloading stock as required.
Maintaining inventory accuracy and following warehouse procedures.
Working to productivity and quality targets.
Ensuring all health and safety and cold chain requirements are followed.
Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe.
What We're Looking For
Ability to use electronic devices such as PDAs, scanners, and computers.
Comfortable with manual handling and lifting items such as dry ice, ice packs, and trolleys.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
