Driver Hire Ashford is recruiting an experienced Coach Driver to support local clients across the Ashford area. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for flexible, ongoing work with a variety of assignments.
The Role
You will be responsible for operating coach and passenger vehicles safely and professionally while providing excellent customer service to passengers.
Assignments may include a combination of:
* School runs
* School day trips
* Private hire day trips
* Airport runs
* Other passenger transport services
During quieter periods, we can discuss alternative driving opportunities, including van driving or HGV work for drivers who hold the relevant licence.
Responsibilities
* Transport passengers to planned destinations and routes
* Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after shifts
* Provide a high standard of customer service
* Comply with road traffic legislation, driver hours and safety regulations
* Complete all relevant paperwork and route information accurately
Requirements
* Full Category D (Coach/Bus) licence
* Valid Driver CPC qualification
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous coach driving experience preferred
* Professional and customer-focused attitude
* Good understanding of driver hours and transport regulations
* Flexible approach to different types of passenger transport work
