How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Personal Assistant

    Location: Sevenoaks, TN15

    Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum plus benefits and discretionary bonus

    Hours: Full time - Office based.

    An excellent opportunity has arisen for a professional PA to join the growing team at a Partner Practice of St. James’s Place (SJP).
    This role will support the Practice Principle and allocated Financial Planners in all aspects of client and business operations.

    The Role: Personal Assistant

    You will be working with the Financial Planners and the Practice Manager with a range of responsibilities including:

    *

    * Ensuring end-to-end business and client processes are adhered to and tracked efficiently in line with the practice, SJP and regulatory standards

    * Liaison with clients and third parties in relation to Cole Financial activities with the highest standards of customer service

    * Acting as one of the first points of contact for client administrative queries

    * Utilising all systems and processes effectively with high levels of attention to detail

    * Keeping Salesforce up-to-date and maintained accurately

    * Liaison with the Practice Manager for day-to-day guidance, trouble shooting and resolving client issues

    * Working as a team with the other PA's, providing cover for the Practice Manager and guidance to Practice Administrators, as needed

    * Completion of all required training for compliance and personal development

    You will have an initial period of training to learn the practice processes and skills which will provide you with a solid foundation for a career within a Financial Services Practice and you will have the opportunity to progress within the SJP Accreditation and Development framework.

    The Person: Personal Assistant

    This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate, highly organised, and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a ‘can do’ working style.

    *

    * You are reliable with proven relevant Personal Assistant experience

    * You have exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written

    * Excellent organisation skills with attention to detail

    * Experience of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) & Client Management systems

    * Keeps calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills

    * You are a self-starter and able to work with little supervision

    * You are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion

    * It would be useful, but not essential, to have worked in a Financial Services or professional service environment or have a financial background.

    The practice is well established and highly successfully Partner Practice of SJP.
