We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in West Midlands.
This is a varied, hands-on position that would suit someone with previous accounts and general administration experience who enjoys working as part of a small, friendly team. You will provide day-to-day support across the accounts function, ensuring financial records are accurate, up to date and processed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
* Processing purchase and sales invoices
* Matching invoices against purchase orders and delivery documentation
* Raising customer invoices and credit notes
* Maintaining accurate purchase and sales ledger records
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Assisting with bank reconciliations
* Processing expenses
* Credit control and following up outstanding customer payments
* Dealing with supplier and customer account queries
* Maintaining accurate financial records and filing
* Supporting month-end activities as required
* General accounts and office administration
* Providing additional administrative support to the wider business when required
The Successful Candidate
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working within a busy SME environment.
You will ideally have:
* Previous experience within an Accounts Administrator, Accounts Assistant or similar role
* Experience of purchase and/or sales ledger
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office
* Experience using accounting or ERP software
* Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* The ability to manage your own workload and priorities
* A flexible and team-focused approach
Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or similar SME environment would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
