About the role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced FLT Driver to join a busy working environment on a Monday to Friday basis. This FLT Driver role offers consistent daytime hours, with shifts running from 8.00am to 4.00pm and an hourly rate of £12.71.
As an FLT Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials across the working environment. The role would suit a dependable FLT Driver who takes pride in working safely, follows instructions and can work effectively as part of a team.
The successful FLT Driver will play an important part in supporting the smooth day to day operation of the workplace, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently when required.
Key responsibilities
• Operating an FLT safely and responsibly
• Following Loading, unloading and moving goods and materials
• Moving stock safely around the working environment
• Supporting the wider team with general warehouse duties where required
• Following site safety procedures and operating guidelines
• Carrying out duties efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety
• Keeping work areas organised and ensuring goods are handled carefully
Skills and experience required
• Previous experience working as an FLT Driver
• A valid FLT licence
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety
• Daytime hours of Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Good attention to detail when handling goods and materials
• A positive and professional attitude
