How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a hands-on project delivery role where you'll take responsibility for high-value mechanical building services packages, managing projects from design coordination and procurement through installation, commissioning and handover.

The opportunity could suit an experienced M&E Project Manager, MEP Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contracts Manager or Building Services Manager looking for greater responsibility and ownership of complex projects.

    The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of mechanical packages across major residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

You'll work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required technical standards.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Managing mechanical packages from design coordination through to installation, commissioning and handover

    * Managing project programmes, resources and key delivery milestones

    * Preparing interim valuations in line with works completed

This is more than a project monitoring role.

You'll have genuine responsibility for the delivery of major M&E packages and the autonomy to make decisions, solve problems and drive projects forward.

You'll work directly with clients, designers, subcontractors and construction teams on technically challenging projects where quality, safety, programme certainty and technical delivery are critical.

For an experienced Mechanical Project Manager, this could also provide the opportunity to broaden your experience and take responsibility for wider M&E/MEP project delivery.
