We're recruiting on behalf of a busy manufacturing client for Paint Plant Operatives to join their production team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced paint/powder coating line, finishing aluminium parts to a high standard. Flexible shift patterns are available.
As a Paint Plant Operatives, you will be responsible for:
* Hanging aluminium parts onto the line and managing colour changes between parts
* Cleaning booths and preparing parts (pre-treatment, taping, bunging) between colour processes
* Finishing products to a high standard, matching the Golden Sample
* Checking visual aids before completing each process
* Identifying quality issues that may require re-tapping
* Preparing and packing finished parts ready for despatch
* Keeping your work area safe, tidy and compliant with Health & Safety standards
* Working closely with your Line Supervisor and reporting any issues as needed
The ideal candidate will be:
* Previous experience on a paint plant or with powder coating (preferred)
* Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
* Flexible and adaptable to changing demands
* Willing to undertake relevant training
* Good time management, with the initiative to work independently as part of a team

£12.71 - £16.95 per hour
